A year of great photography experiences. It started with the South Coast of Iceland, following by the rough coast of Bretagne (France), the impressive Matterhorn in Switerland and last but not least, the Ile of Rugen in Germany. But lets not forget the great places in the our backyard in the Netherlands. I am looking forward to 2026.

The Riffelsee (close to 3000 meters) is one of the most breathtaking photospots in the Alps. Its world-famous for its perfect reflection of the 4478 heigh Matterhorn on calm and windless days. It was for years on my wishlist........this year July 2025 was the moment to capture this shot in ideal contitions. What a bleshing to be there on such a day.
